Our Inn is known to be haunted and is in 6 books & 1 documentary and has been on TV 25, radio stations & in many newspaper articles, and also on www.michigan.org a few years back as being the most haunted Inn in Michigan!  So if you scare easily, this may not be the place for you.
Take a step back in time, as it will remind most of great grandmas house! Most of the Inn is in 1800's period furniture & rich wood floors & trim throughout the house, many antiques along the way & we are trying to keep it as a historic landmark, once owned by William H. Wallace.  He owned the Wallace Stone Quarry in town, which is still in operation today.  He actually owned most of this area!  We are 1 minute from the Free state boat launch, which was recently dredged. Lots of great fishing & hunting & bird watching in our area.  Get back to nature!  Look up for the bald eagles that hang out in Bay Port, they are amazing!  Canoe or kayak along the lakeshore  www.thumbtrails.com  We also have many golf courses, sandy beaches nearby, lighthouses, gift/antique shops, art galleries, annual events galore, miniature golf, etc.  go to www.huroncounty.com for more information.
